Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is a former American MMA fighter from Webster, SD. Lesnar was a decorated college wrestler at the University of Minnesota, where he won the Big Ten in 1999 and 2000, as well as an NCAA Division I title in 2000 (he was a runner up in 1999). Brock Lesnar first made a name for himself in the WWE in the early 2000’s and then made the switch to MMA in 2007. Lesnar made his UFC debut against Frank Mir at UFC 81 on February 2, 2008, where he was submitted via a kneebar in the 1st. Lesnar lost his UFC Heavyweight title belt to Cain Velasquez at UFC 121 after a TKO in the 1st.  Brock Lesnar then made his final MMA fight at UFC 141 against Alistair Overeem and again was KO'd in the 1st, which lead to his retirement announcement immediately following the bout.
