After over 2 years of study, feedback and use, the Training Mask 2.0 has been introduced. The Training Mask 2.0 is smaller, lighter and more comfortable. Training Mask 2.0 gives the end user a redesigned look and feel along with the resistance levels that they desire.
Elevation Training Mask mimics the effects of High Altitude Training. When elite athletes want to improve their performance they go to high altitude levels to train. When they come back to sea level they perform much stronger, faster, and have increased endurance.
New look
The first version of the training mask was made from an Israeli civilian gas mask and has been completedly revamped and remolded into Training Mask 2.0. Gone are the eye pieces, hardened straps, and overall gas mask look. Reconstruction included an entirely new mask mould, neoprene that is stretched over the rubber resistance mask, and caps that give Training Mask 2.0 a smooth, sleek look and comfortable feel.
Training Mask 2.0 is held on the face with a comfortable neoprene strap that over lays the air tight silicone piece that rests against the face. The neoprene strap is held onto the mask by 3 "Resistance caps". The resistance caps make for a nice snug fit against the neoprene and hold the neoprene in place acting as a "post" against the silicone that rests on your face.
Training Mask 2.0 is a less aggressive looking design that still gives you the aggressive workout that you desire. With Training Mask 2.0 you will not have feelings of claustrophobia and your vision is unimpeded. The snap and go resistance nose pieces are truely revolutionary, and simplifies use.
Our multi-level resistance system reduces air flow through our patent pending flux valve system. Training Mask promotes increased lung capacity by forcing you to inhale fuller deeper breaths. When your body adapts to the resistance your lungs will be trained to take deeper breaths and use oxygen more efficiently. A short explanation of how this works is simple. When you breath against resistance the lining in the lungs essentially stretches out allowing the alveoli’s surface area to become "stretched" thus in return allows for more blood flow to the alveoli for more (oxygen transportation).
